KCI Security & Consulting exists because the security industry has a habit of selling warm bodies and calling it protection. We staff our posts with retired military officers and career law enforcement professionals, and we tell clients the truth about what their property needs — even when the truth is a smaller job than they expected.
The premise
Security is a job for someone who has done hard jobs before.
Anyone can sit in a chair at the front of a building. The question is what happens at 2:40 in the morning when a door is propped open that should not be, when a vehicle has been idling in the same spot for forty minutes, or when someone who should not be on the property is standing in the loading area.
Those moments are decided by whoever is on post, and by what they have already been through. That is why our officers come from military and law enforcement careers. They have carried responsibility before, they know how to hold a standard without being reminded, and they do not treat a quiet shift as a night off.
The same standard runs through our monitoring center. A camera system that nobody watches is not security — it is a record of what you lost. Our screens are staffed around the clock by people whose job is to notice.
